Roof Bundle Formula
Bundles = ((Footprint × PitchFactor) × (1 + Waste%)) ÷ 100 × 3
Roofing is sold in squares (100 sq ft). Most architectural shingles require about 3 bundles per square.
Accuracy Notes
- Complex roofs with many valleys need higher waste.
- Starter strips, ridge caps, and underlayment are separate materials.
- Always round up to full bundles.
